Iridium is named after the Greek goddess of rainbows Iris. This high density metal can be found on earth but mostly in meteors and as it falls it releases brightly coloured salts.

Sock 4ply Merino & Nylon 75% Superwash Merino Wool 25% Nylon, 100g Hanks, 425m per 100g. Super soft yet tough! High quality Merino with added Nylon for add stretch makes a perfect sock yarn yet also completely scrumptious for shawls and garments. 

All yarn is hand dyed, in small batches using the highest quality acid dyes And superwash yarns. 

Please hand wash only when your project is finished with a wool wash to keep colour and yarn looking fresh and dry/block flat where possible.
