This not just any yarn advent calendar... it's The Wool Kitchen Advent Calendar!

This year's advent is based on brilliant baubles! We love decorating our Christmas trees with bright, colourful and kitsch decorations. It's one of the absolute highlights of the festive period and Helen has a very special family tradition of gifting a fantastic bauble to her loved ones (the crazier the better!). We thought we would share this tradition in yarn putting Helen's love of baubles and her amazing dyeing skills in one place.

Helen has magnified her inspiration image to identify the twenty four speckle-tactic colours that will become the Advent Calendar. For the first time, Helen is sharing her mood board! How exciting!

Following the success of last year's trial, our 10g mini version is back alongside even more slots of our original 20g mini offer. In addition, our popular Mohair Silk add on has had a glow up and will feature 5 block complimentary colours to go with all your advent projects.

We are also offering a luxury 5 skein Merino Silk Advent option which will enable you to open a beautiful package each week of Advent and on Christmas Day (or all at once if you are anything like us!). Please see separate listing here for this.

20g mini 4 Ply Sock/Fingering - Merino 75% Nylon 25% superwash. Each mini is 20g Hanks, 80m per 20g Hank, (400m per 100g)

10g mini 4 Ply Sock/Fingering - Merino 75% Nylon 25% superwash. Each mini is 10g Hanks, 40m per 10g Hank, (400m per 100g)

Add Mohair/Silk option

Owing to the success of last year's Mohair/Silk option, we are offering this again. By selecting the Mohair addition you will receive an additional 250g (5 skeins) of Kid Mohair Silk in five complementary block colours that will enhance your advent project. 

Luxury Mohair Silk Lace Weight Yarn - 72% Kid Mohair and 28% Silk 425 metres approx per 50g

Pay in full or Pay in Instalments

You have the option to pay in full at time of ordering or in 4 monthly instalments. The initial payment of *£43.75 (plus shipping which is calculated at checkout) for the 20g option or *£31.25 (plus shipping) for the 10g option, will be taken today and then you will receive an invoice with payment link for 3 further payments of the same amount at the beginning of August, September and October. There will be no shipping to pay on these.

*From July 30th this will become a 3 part instalment option with the with the first payment including July and August as one.

Advents will be shipped on at the end of October to enable your package to reach you in good time for 1st December.

Shipping has been calculated based on the weight of the advent skeins only. Please do not add anything else to your order for your advent, as it will not ship until the advent does.  Shipping charges are based on current Royal Mail prices, if these prices increase between now and October, there may be a small surcharge to pay or refund given if there is a drop in prices. Packages will be sent tracked and insured as this means we can know where your package is at all times.
